Under the auspices of Adventure Marketing Solutions, PolyJohn's exclusive marketing partner, I was tasked with ideating themes for their trade show booth. Several options were explored, but Polypalooza was ultimately chosen.
Multiple promotional and advertising items needed to be created to coalesce the concept into something that would look professional and inviting.
Concepting & Implementation
The first task after the theme was chosen was creating a concept for the tradeshow booth itself. The idea was to create a mock music festival in the hopes that it would draw more foot traffic at the show. A unique and relevant theme like this (many vendors service festivals like PolyPalooza, the festival upon which this theme was based) would likely be more enticing than the more generic company branded themes found elsewhere at the show. We created vendor stands and setup a guitar giveaway, along with garments that resembled music festival T-shirts, all in the effort to create a micro-festival. All of this needed to be reflecting in the preliminary sketches before a vendor could be found to create the materials for the booth itself. The theme ultimately worked; it became one of Polyjohn's most visited tradeshows to date.
